Stair nosing or full tread cover?

Choose stair nosing when the main concern is the leading edge of the step: grip, visibility or edge wear. If the entire tread is slippery or damaged, a full-width GRP stair tread cover may be the better solution.

Installation guidance

The step must be clean, sound, level and free from loose material. Position the nosing securely against the leading edge and use fixings appropriate to the substrate. Mechanical fixing is recommended for demanding or permanent installations; a compatible construction adhesive may also be used where suitable.
